Colin Brady
Director of Investment Banking, Citi
Colin is a Director of Investment Banking at Citi in New York, focused on Technology, Media, and Telecommunications, has worked over a decade on Wall Street. Colin received his bachelor’s from the University of Hawaii, attending AKAMAI Finance Academy while carrying a full course load, then received his MBA from NYU’s demanding Stern College of Business. He served as Vice President and Director for the AKAMAI Foundation, helped write the curriculum for the AKAMAI Finance Academy, has mentored and helped place students in the Academy into similar career paths to his.
Maya Rezzonico
Investment Banking Associate, UBS
Maya is an Investment Banking Associate at UBS in their Global Energy Group in Houston, TX, having been with the company for 4 years. Prior to UBS, Maya worked for leading pension and endowment consultant Cambridge Associates in San Francisco, paving the way for others from AKAMAI to work at Cambridge. Maya spent over 2 years at AKAMAI Capital as a Junior Analyst, while studying at the University of Hawaii.
Ryan Bui
Trading Associate, TD Securities
Ryan is currently working as a Trading Associate at TD Securities in New York City. Prior to his work at TD, Ryan was an alumnus of the AKAMAI Finance Academy, then a Mentor for the program. His experience with AKAMAI provided him with the tools to land Investment Banking internships and set him up for success in his professional career. Ryan continues to give back to the program through his mentorship.
Charlie Chao
Associate, Private Equity Group, Goldman Sachs
Charlie is a former graduate of the University of Hawaii and the AKAMAI Finance Academy training program. He is currently an Associate at Goldman Sachs in their Private Equity Group. The rigor of AKAMAI’s curriculum prepared Charlie for his successful career in banking with valuable experience and an extensive network.
Gerome Gregory
Head Trader, Channing Global Advisors
Gerome served as Director of the AKAMAI Foundation for 3 years. He has over 10 years of trading experience, currently serving as Head Trader at Channing Global Advisors and previously worked at PIMCO and Grandeur Peak. Gerome bestows valuable guidance to AKAMAI students hoping to take on a career of Trading.
Sally Hawkins
Senior Manager, KPMG
Sally currently serves as Senior Manager at KPMG US. She has over 13 year of leadership experience in tax advisory, as well as business development. Prior to her professional career, Sally spent 2 years working as a Junior Analyst for AKAMAI Capital while studying at the University of Hawaii, eventually going on to receive her Master’s degree in Accounting from St. John’s University. She continues to provide mentorship for upcoming AKAMAI students hoping to follow in her footsteps.
Evan Minnick
Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, 23andMe
Evan was a valuable member of the AKAMAI Foundation during its early days, working on one of our private equity turnarounds for over 5 years. He went on to work in various FP&A roles for major corporations, currently serving as a Director for 23andMe. Evan is one of the many AKAMAI alum that leveraged his experience with the program to have a succesful career in corporate finance.
Debbie Ababa
Assistant Vice President, Menlo Equities
Debbie currently works as an Assistant Vice President at Menlo Equities in their Business Development and Investor Relations Department, with over two years of Investment Banking experience as well. She also served as an Analyst for AKAMAI Capital for three years while attending the University of Hawaii. Debbie offers valuable insight from her experiences to AKAMAI students looking to follow in her footsteps.
Dylan Zheng
Investment Analyst, Kansas State University Foundation
Dylan has over 10 years of experience working in Investment Analysis for pension funds, endowments, and foundations, currently working for the Kansas State University Foundation. He graduated from the University of Hawaii with a degree in Finance while enrolled in the AKAMAI Finance Training Academy. Dylan’s work experience provides students with a unique perspective as they plan their futures in the Finance industry.
Isaac Okita
Senior Vice President, Treasurer, First Hawaiian Bank
Isaac spent 2 years with the AKAMAI Foundation, playing a key role in writing the curriculum while working as an Analyst. He has over 10 years of experience in Asset and Liability Management, currently serving as SVP Treasurer at First Hawaiian Bank. Isaac attended the Univeristy of Hawaii before receiving his Master’s degree in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
Phoebe Choi
HR Business Partner, Goldman Sachs
Phoebe, a recent graduate of the University of Hawaii and the AKAMAI Finance Academy, works as HR Business Partner for Goldman Sachs in Dallas, TX. In preparation for her professional career, Phoebe had Financial Analyst internship experiences with AKAMAI Capital, Kamehameha Schools, Merrill Lynch, and Investment Banking with Goldman Sachs.
Richard Cheong
Financial Advisor, Morgan Stanley
Richard Cheong, currently a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, is a seasoned financial professional with over a decade of experience in investment banking, strategy, and partnerships. An alumnus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he attended the first years of AKAMAI Finance Academy. He first worked for Google in new venture investment, later Samsung, and Paypal. Serving as Co-Founder and Director for over 20 years, Richard has also advised and coached our students and helped graduates get great jobs in finance and entrepreneurship.

Eva Asiskovich
Analyst
Eva Asiskovich is from North Shore, Oahu. As of Sep-2023,she is a senior at the University of Hawaii majoring in Finance, Management Information Systems, and Accounting, with a minor in Economics. Her AKAMAI study while covering a full course load at school was a deep analysis of the Japanese automobile industry, including a long and short recommendation (both of which are in place and working for AKAMAI Fund). Eva has interned at a multinational banks in NYC and recently completed a successful summer internship at Amazon, securing a return offer post-graduation in May 2024. Recognizing limited investment finance opportunities in Hawaii, Eva sees Akamai as her pathway to break into global finance. With its practical training and alumni network, AKAMAI promises meaningful job prospects both locally and “abroad.”
Adam Sylva
Junior Analyst
Adam Sylva was born and raised on Oahu and graduated from Kapolei High School in 2019. For the 2023-24 school year, he is a Senior at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, majoring in Finance, Economics, and Management, and learning hands-on investing at AKAMAI Finance Academy. As his capstone project first year at AKAMAI, Adam analyzed the Japanese auto industry with a recommendation to sell or sell short Nissan. He is currently writing recommendations on Netflix and Home Depot. Adam is interested in either investment banking or asset management, with plans of a career on the East Coast.
Dante McGee
Student
Dante McGee, born and raised here on Oahu, is a recent graduate of the Univeristy of Hawaii, where he studied Finance and Entrepreneurship. He successfully analyzed the Japanese auto industry, presenting a trade recomendation to buy Honda. Dante currently works for Hawaiian Telcom, performing analysis for their Engineering department. Dante joined AKAMAI to further cultivate his skills to later pursue a career in high finance.
